NEOS has begun pushing Microsoft and other Third Party security updates out daily instead of monthly. Some updates will require the computer to be rebooted to be activated. Computers will be automatically rebooted between the hours of 2AM and 5AM if required to install the update. In the event the automatic reboot is unsuccessful the user will be prompted to reboot their computer.  The user will see the following messages if asked to reboot their computer to install software patches.

The first message will prompt the user to reboot their computer.   The user will be prompted every 60 minutes until a reboot is completed.   It is critical you reboot the computer when receiving this message.

If the user does not reboot the computer within 24 hours of the first message, a second message will warn the user the computer is going to reboot.   The user will be required to reboot before continuing to work.
